so Land of the Dead was a downright mess of a movie. It's corny, its gore is pathetic, the zombies look like clowns and and...forget it. lol!
Carl's Jr. The new burger chain in town. Now we all know it as THE burger chain that made THAT ad featuring the notorious, pretending-to-be-ditzy-so-I-can-be-famous Paris Hilton. The food is good. but the enormous portions are unsuitable for tiny asian appetites. most of us that is. I couldn't finish my burger as good as it was. and I got a decent appetite. so you can imagine how big the portions were! Though I suppose this IS Singapore, and more is ALWAYS a good thing...unless we're talking about more GST, COE, ERP etc. you gotta try this Carl's Jr though. I swear you'll never visit crapDonald's again.

Been listening alot to Grandaddy lately. I love them so much. Their music is infectious!
This morning I went to CMPB to reset my smart card password. I took ticket, I waited and when I go to the counter, I realised I forgot my smart card! I cannot believe how klutzy and dumb I can be sometimes. I should've checked before I left home! Dad was not pleased about his wasted time giving me a lift there for nothing.
Has anyone been to Rice Table restaurant? Indonesian a la carte buffet. the satay is delicious. Recommended.

no one ever reads my blog anyway. and I've been too lazy to add new entries. I've been very busy with my Carnival@Marina committments lately. National Service in every sense of the word! You know, I still stand by my claim that Carnival@Marina is a complete mess. Most people who leave are disappointed I'm sure. and the whole transportation issue has everyone up in arms, for good reason too! I mean, what nonsense to have only TWO busstops to alight from...considering how huge Marina Bay is. it's ridiculous. but I couldn't care less.
So national day has come and gone and what do I have to say? not much. only that I do not hate Singapore like I used to. Come to think of it, in a way, I'm quite proud of what Singapore is today and what it has achieved despite its limitations. Could I imagine living here after I complete my studies in Australia? Most definitely. But I want to try out working and living in a western city either in Europe, US or Australia for a few years to gain more independence and exposure before deciding on whether Singapore is right for me. As it is, I just want to get through NS in one piece.
Being a clerk isn't all that great I've discovered. I still have to stay-in, I have duties galore and I have to learn alot before my upper-study ORDs. A classic case of the grass being greener on the other side of the fence so to speak. now I look back at my life in my old coy. it wasn't all that bad really...

...and so I have heard. It has finally come to pass. The age of peace, tranquility, of freedom? not quite.. But it has been proclaimed..."PES downgrade"!! As such, I have seen nothing to confirm it is...well, "confirmed", I can only take 3 persons' words for it. I am much afraid that I will discover it is a HUGE YO-MAMA'S-ASS-IS-AS-HUGE-AS-JUPITER mix-up. That someone else got it instead. That my fate has been sealed. That I will spend the next year in the disgusting jungles of southeast Asia. I think I wouldn't be able to take the disappoinment...let alone the perilous danger beyond the barracks.
It is sad that life has reached such a low that I am actually seriously affected by military PES grading issues. I need to GET A LIFE! NOW!

Billy Corgan- TheFutureEmbrace will be out very very soon. His debut solo. I cannot wait. What's more, he apparently wants to reunite the pumpkins! great! Been listening to alot of pumpkins again since I heard the news. Still love them after all these damn years.
