ho hum...
no one ever reads my blog anyway. and I've been too lazy to add new entries. I've been very busy with my Carnival@Marina committments lately. National Service in every sense of the word! You know, I still stand by my claim that Carnival@Marina is a complete mess. Most people who leave are disappointed I'm sure. and the whole transportation issue has everyone up in arms, for good reason too! I mean, what nonsense to have only TWO busstops to alight from...considering how huge Marina Bay is. it's ridiculous. but I couldn't care less.So national day has come and gone and what do I have to say? not much. only that I do not hate Singapore like I used to. Come to think of it, in a way, I'm quite proud of what Singapore is today and what it has achieved despite its limitations. Could I imagine living here after I complete my studies in Australia? Most definitely. But I want to try out working and living in a western city either in Europe, US or Australia for a few years to gain more independence and exposure before deciding on whether Singapore is right for me. As it is, I just want to get through NS in one piece.
Being a clerk isn't all that great I've discovered. I still have to stay-in, I have duties galore and I have to learn alot before my upper-study ORDs. A classic case of the grass being greener on the other side of the fence so to speak. now I look back at my life in my old coy. it wasn't all that bad really...
